Like this filter for my 1995 1500 GM pickup. Looks comparable to factory filter as far as filtration is concerned, no big holes. Looked at replacing the stock filter in my 2013 silverado filter with a K&N but the holes were way to big. Decided to stick with the stock filter for that application. Again, the K&N E-1500 is a good replacement and should save money on buying filters.

You simply cannot go wrong with a K&N filter. I’ve always invested in them in all my vehicles. It makes sense as it pays for itself over the cost of replacing paper filters. This particular one was installed in a 1992 C2500 Suburban with the 5.7 V8. It seems like I have a modest gain in pickup and fuel mileage seems a little better for this gas hog.
I have the filter cleaning/recharge kit and I always recommend buying one. Its so easy to clean your own filter rather than paying someone else to do it. If you order this and don’t have one, you should purchase that to. They last a long time as well.

Hab den Luftfilter für meine ’79er Corvette gekauft, da der alte Filter ziemlich verstaubt war und der Motor nicht mehr gut ansprang. Mit dem neuen Filter läuft das Auto wieder super rund, und der Filter passt perfekt! Kann ich nur empfehlen! 👍🏽

Actually provides a better air intake. Purchased so I would not have to replace paper filters so often and keep spending money, this guy is re-oilable so money saved there. Plus the greater intake and gas efficiency is a plus. Installed on a 1995 GMC Yukon.

Bought this wanting to improve airflow to the engine and it definately accomplished that! It said that this was used and therefore was much cheaper than a new one. When it arrived it was new near as I could tell and just the packaging was damaged. I was pleasently surprised couldn’t believe what a good deal I got on this item! K&N quality is unsurpassed. I bought one for each car I own.
