I was skeptical that I would receive a filter that was old stock or that was not stored oiled. I pulled the trigger because amazon has an amazing return policy.
To my relief, I didn’t need to return it. It came packaged and sealed with plenty of pink oil in the bag. It was almost too much oil! But that isn’t a bad thing.
Once installed on my 2001 MR2 Spyder, I immediately noticed the advantages. I heard an increase in volume of the air sucking into my engine, the acceleration seems to be smoother, and I’ve gained a couple miles per gallon (I use ScanGauge to track my mileage).
For a vehicle lifetime of not purchasing air filters, the price is definitely justified.

perfect fit, it was listed correctly for the right vehicle.

Great air intake filter. It will last me forever and felt like it improved intake volume ever so slightly.

less restrictive allows more air. not sure about the power gain, but its a more efficient solution Highly recommended

Il venditore descrive il filtro per Terios 1.3 4wd dal ’97 al ’06, non va assolutamente bene è più grande, restituisco subito l’articolo

Definitely adds some low end torque. And considering that you’ll likely never buy another filter, worth the $. Be aware that the fit is super tight, but my understanding is that it is designed that way.

This filter fit perfectly on my MR2 Spyder, I read it was a challenge for some but I didn’t find that at all. It loses a star for what appears to be an incomplete filter oiling job. There are lots of parts on my filter which are black that should be red from oil. I’d personally do a better job, and will next time I need to reoil the filter.

C est celui là qu il fallait pour obmenter la puissance à bas régime, le gain est suffisant. Mieux que le filtre papier d origine.

This fits both the GT and GT-S, adds some induction noise but I couldn’t tell you if it really adds any horsepower- doubt it, but a nice replacement panel filter. Overall good product

I have used K&N filters for years in all of my vehicles. A new filter from the Toyota dealer costs $25, the K&N filter costs (I think around $38). Use it twice and it has more than paid for its self. Performance increase? One of my cars is a 2010 Prius so I didn’t see any mpg gain but does seem to have more pickup and go (just think it is breathing better). My other car is a 2003 Toyota Celica and it did see a gain in mpg and more punch than with the stock filter. Yes it is a little messy having to clean and re-oil the filter (I do mine every oil change 5000-7500 miles just so I will remember). For me it is not very messy just takes a little time to clean and dry out filter, which on a sunny day takes about 15-20 minutes.
