The JetFan Max by Kica, is a great way to wield massive amounts of wind with the touch of a button. With its high quality, great functionality and multiple uses this is a great one to consider. But, it does have a few drawbacks for some to think about.
I. Quality – This machine looks and feels like a very high quality version of these type of fans. It’s solidly built with a heavy feel that makes it appear to be durable.
II. Performance – It works great in so many ways. The available power of wind is very impressive and capable of blowing clear so many tasks like dusting, water removal or keyboard cleaning. The vacuum is also effective, but not near as impressive for me and more of a bonus. It’s simple to use with either the button or slider to control the level of wind. It would be nice if the controls were on the back side instead of the front, but I got used to it. Even though the wind is strong it’s still very controllable, unless your exceptionally weak. The size and weight is going to be a drawback for some. The shaft that you hold is pretty thick and it does weigh a lot for what it is, which might be too much if you have smaller hands. My only other concern is whether I’ll be able to find a replacement battery when the time comes as this one is pretty unique and probable expensive. The battery last me a long time even with a higher speed. On high the wind is intense and very effective for the things I use it for.
Overall, I’m super happy I picked this tool and enjoy using it almost daily. The quality, performance and abilities of this jet fan are fantastic and I’d recommend it to anyone that can stomach the cost. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.

I must admit, this is way more fun to use than it should be..
They’ve got some interesting design choices here. You have to hold the bottom button for a few seconds to turn on/off. When on you can put the slider (next to the on/off button) up from 0% to 100% for steady airflow at that percentage. then either when its running with the slide up or even at 0% you can push the “turbo” button for the extra boost. I guess the slide is better if you’d have it on for a bit than a trigger from something like a drill, and it would keep it exact rather than potentially going higher/lower with your finger moving so I think that works out, just takes two hands to operate.
You might be able to find one thats stronger, however, this thing really does put out quite the airflow, more than my leaf blower. It would work better as a leaf blower if it was lower to the ground, but just holding it will absolutely blow anything off your porch, sidewalk, trampoline, etc. It’s not super great at getting leaves out of grass, especially if damp or the grass is a little thicker/taller. If you’ve got shorter grass and dry leaves I assume it would be great so this will vary considerably.
Getting water off the car. So on a slick painted surface this seems to be really great. On an unpainted not so slick surface it still moves the water a lot but not as cleanly so leaves a lot of water behind still.
The “vacuum” duster attachment is not as great. The bristles are short and stiff so it’s really there to break the suction from whatever you run it across. Will it dust your keyboard or whatever, yes, but might be better to just blow the keyboard clean than try to suck the dust off. Plus the filter makes the motor struggle more and gets warm pretty quick dependent on the speed your running it at. Both sides of the fan have machining for screwing the attachments to so be careful which side you put this filter on as it does have a 1-way rubber valve.
The fan itself is MUCH heavier duty feeling than I was anticipating. It’s a heavy duty aluminum and has a good amount of weight.
I could see this being best and really handy to clear a porch, driveway, walking path, campsite pad, etc, because its so compact, easy (and fun) to use, and easy to pack.
When on at full blast it runs around 66 decibels, and around 78 with the duster vacuum attachment.
Overall, depending on your tasks, this could be really handy, compact, and great blower.

This is the first handheld blower I’ve gotten that has actually lived up to its promises in terms of being seriously powerful in such a small package. And I’ve tried several, so I’m really impressed. I have a front walkway that my dogs are always kicking rocks onto that then get tracked in the house so I’m constantly using my big gas blower to keep it clean. The idea of a small electric blower that will actually work well on rocks has been one of my big wants for a while so I keep trying different ones and am always disappointed. This one, though, has finally delivered. It has SERIOUS power and blows even larger rocks with no problem. I even started using it in my house to blow dust out from under furniture and it’s made cleaning so much easier. The battery life is ok but not great, but really not surprising given how powerful it is. I tend to use it at most for 15 minutes and it’s pretty discharged by the end but for me that’s perfect. The vac function isn’t as impressive to me, and for me I mainly use this as a blower so it isn’t an issue. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this and, surprisingly, feel it’s actually worth it’s steep $200 price.

I appreciate the power this turbo blower delivers—it definitely moves air. But it’s almost too big to be practical. For me, it’s basically a glorified leaf blower that I use to clear leaves off my deck. I tried using it to dry my car like in the product photos, but honestly, a towel does a better job. Great power, just not as versatile as advertised. 🍂🚗💨
