Bert Rodriguez –
So I replaced a 14 year old unit since I found the gas tank rusted out and dirty. The bike would idle ok but would hesitate while riding. This new pump went in fine and primed the lines no problem I went on a 15 mile ride and it worked fine. I would definitely give it 5 stars HOWEVER, this pump makes a high pitched whining noise. Time will tell as to the durability but first impression is it seems like a good product.

Worked as should was a tight fit but made it work

So the pros and cons? Well, the pump is built extremely well. The logo and painted case gives it the appearance of a high dollar unit. I wish I could actually see the internals though because I’m willing to bet the impeller is magnificent as well. Overall it performs better than OEM Walboro type units.
Cons: fitment, although perfect in the normal horizonal axis, within the pump assembly, is bad vertically meaning the unit fits perfectly into the grommet tube, power connector was spot on, it’s just the rubber pump cap does not support being installed without major modification of the fuel pump housing on an 04 INFINITI G35 coupe. After much trial and error, modification and Dremeling, I finally got it to fit within the unit. The pressure it produces is amazing! You can hear the whirl of the pump as you turn your ignition before firing up for cold start.

Total wrong size and shouldn’t have stated that it fit my vehicle when that’s clearly impossible!

Size 13501 is a direct fit replacement for a 2009 Suzuki Gladius. The wire for the negative is a bit long but it does not interfere with anything.
I just installed it and my wife is test driving now. If there is no update then it means the pump is doing well.

Replaced the original pump with this pump. Cranked right up and rode it around the yard. While idling, it just shut off. The pump is pumping some but not enough to get fuel to the injector.

I was able to make everything fit like it should, seems to make okay fuel pressure on my sv650, but it is very loud and I don’t have a lot of confidence it will last. Also had to cut and splice the wires to add ring terminals, none were included and the provided crimp connectors don’t shrink nor are they glue/solder type. I feel something as simple as a better connector could really improve the kit by a lot, but o rings fit as they should, rubber isolater fit fine, grommet for fuel pump was fine and the pickup sock although a little weird to fit up was okay.

Had a low pressure backfire this fit and worked perfectly has been installed several months with no issues.
