This fuel pump set was listed as being for my 2003 Honda VTX1800S, but it doesn’t work for that bike.
Sure. The pump itself fit. But it didn’t come with the pre-filter (aka, the sock) that I needed for my bike, despite having four different socks on the kit. And anyone who knows the first thing about changing fuel pumps will know that you HAVE TO change the sock or you will end up sucking junk from the old sock into your new pump and ruin it.

The pump worked great once in but you need to do lots of modifications. My car is a 2005 350z and this pump is a little longer than the OEM pump. To get this to fit, You will have to shave the ribs off with a razor on the bottom of the fuel pump and cut about 80% of the rubber gromet off {need to be thinner} that sets on the end of the pump to get the pump to clip inside the fuel housing. Once in I put power to it before I put it in the tank and it worked as advertised. Turn the key, you hear the pump and pressure is good.

My gen4 zx10r is close to 15k miles and I decided to do some maintenance and changed the fuel pump as well. Fuel pump quality was really good. Comes with all the filters and o-rings you need to do the install. Installation was easy and straight forward. Functions as it should and it looks really sturdy and well made. I dont really have problems with my bike starting but it fires right away after installing the pump. Recommended pump and it might not be OEM but for the price, you cant really complain.
