Looks just like the original ones, they feel the same and can’t wait to swap out my current set once they are due to be changed.

These cabin filters are easy to install, don’t let the dealer rip you off! In my Mercedes-Benz ML350, it simply required a quick removal of the glovebox. This filter is a charcoal filter, which seems much nicer than the paper filter that was installed. Save money and DIY

This was a perfect fit for our 2008 Mercedes R350.
Installation is pretty easy on this car. Under the hood on the passenger side, nearest the windshield, simply find the cabin air outside intake grate as shown in the pictures. There are only two clips to remove: they are easiest to remove by pulling up on the end of the clip closest to you with a small screwdriver or other similar tool.
Inside you’ll find the two filters, side-by-side. They may feel like they’re fastened inside but they are not… grab and lift them out one-at-a-time, grabbing with your fingers (if you’re tall and/or have large hands it may be slightly frustrating to grab them.)
Pay attention to the “airflow” marking on them when Installing the new filters. Getting one of them inside is easy, slipping in the second one less easy (that’s why there are two) but after you’ve set them both inside they should be square, flat, and solidly held in place.
Finally simply reassemble the cover/grate and reapply the clips. You’re finished! Enjoy activated carbon-filtered air again!
The car’s old cabin air filters were really dirty; I wish I had replaced them sooner!

Didn’t fit my vehicle when it sez it should. May be the time of year the vehicle was manufactured because I have run into that for other components on the same vehicle.

In addition to the perfectly adapted filter housing, this cabin air filter also contain a layer of activated carbon. This material reduces or blocks odours. The one I removed from my R350 didn’t have activated charcoal, and one of the first things I noticed when the snow used to melt was an unpleasant odour whenever I turned on the air conditioning to cool the cabin.
