I had a gas jug that a family member borrowed (along with my push mower) to mow an area behind a fence for himself.
Long story short, I received my gas jug and push mower back. The mower now runs WIDE open but… that’s another story.
The gas jug came back without a lid. Bought this two pack and to my pleasant surprise, the lid fit PERFECTLY and it’s still on there to this day, years later. I still have the second one put up in case I ever need it but so far, so good. This lid hasn’t loosened up or anything.
I know it’s a simple and cheap product, but it’s a quality simple product.
What can I say, I don’t see myself needing a replacement for another 20 years, but if I ever had the need to get another replacement cap, this is the exact one I’d purchase… hands down.

Always on the lookout for older style gas cans, the ones that don’t have the incredibly annoying “safety” features that are anything but safe since you’re juggling a full gas can and struggling to get it to pour without dumping gas all over the place. Anyway, found an old gas can at Goodwill, but it was missing the cap. Amazon to the rescue!

They do the job and fit snugly, but they are about 2mm shorter then the original factory ones so they can’t catch the lock on the spout. Other then that they work perfect.

These are great, they fit perfectly just like in the pics. No leaks. I find all my gas cans on the side of the road, i got 14 gas cans now.. tie your empty cans down! That said i have a couple that needed replacement caps. These are great and allow me to have a complete can for just a couple bucks!
