- Excellent water-repellent and dustproof ability, but not using it in water
- Never go beyond its capabilities. Try to stay 10 to 15% below what the rate is for
- 24-volt 5-prong relay. Primary leads use 12 a.w.g tinned copper wire. Coil leads use 16 a.w.g
- SPDT relay: it has both normally open and normally closed terminals. Terminal 87A is powered when the relay is inactive and switches the power to terminal 87 when the relay is activated. In the case of dual ratings (40/30), the normally closed circuit is the lower of the two, so 30A (NC), 40A (NO)
- The mounting lug is on the relay but can be removed. It is used for outside lights for utility shells/campers, car headlights, boats, electric fans, and wiring lights on equipment

Dual battery trolling motor battery monitor gauge from Dual Pro. Wanted meter on while using and off when not. Wiring required 24 volt, 12 bolts and ground. Used circuit breaker currently in boat to activate relays but needed a 12v and a 24v relay to complete.

4 of the 5 relays, 87 would not work. 87a worked on all of them. Poor quality control

We use these relay’s 12V and 24V in the marine industry. great product, sealed plastic housing great for wet/damp location. fixes issues with long DC voltage runs.

The mounting lug is on the relay. After plugging in the wire assembly, you cannot see the relay number on the lugs. You can not replace relay without unmounting the assembly.
