i’m an Uber driver. I also wear prescription glasses and can’t afford to have prescription sunglasses, also. I have in the past but anyway, there’s a lot of glare on the road I live in the mountains so we have all four seasons. Bright snow glare and harsh sun in the canyons. This is adjustable so it gives me a sunblock AN anti glare, from the side from the front or I can adjust it at an odd angle if needed when I’m driving. It definitely replaces the need for sunglasses and cuts all the glare it’s functional and easy to put on and off. I stick it in my suitcase and take it on trips with me when I’m gonna rent a car !

It works great as is but I wish it had the ability to swing, side to side, and turn/twist left to right. The lack of those features are why I could only give it a 4 rating. I do recommend the buyer follow the instructions from the manufacturer regarding your mirror size and clearance to save themselves any related issues. My recommendations, noted above, would be helpful when you have a passenger with on a trip so they can see GMaps, or whatever you use, to assist the driver. Unless you have super human speed, it’ll require two hands to put into the holder and especially remove the phone. Due to the weight of the phone, I did notice some giggling of the mirror while on the highway on a recent trip. I did not like covering an ac vent with other units, taking up a cup holder or having to try to stick onto my dash. I do like having it closer to eye level so my view of the road stays on the road while not hendering my view

I love this thing so much I bought one for my mother, too. It holds my phone right where I want it so I can see the map and directions. It feels a bit flimsy but it’s strong enough to hold one of the largest phones on the market at any angle I desire. I love that I don’t have to try to get anything to stick to my dash or obscure my air vent. It’s a little odd that you have to reach around behind the phone to release it, but I got used to it fast enough. If you’re sick of trying to make things stick to your dashboard, get this thing. (Also, it’s kind of cool that it looks like a big mech insect when not in use.) It’s easy to put on and remove, too, so if you don’t like the spider look, you can pop it off your mirror in seconds.

I needed a new phone holder to be able to have easy access to the gps during drives. It has a great sizing fit for my phone without any issues at all. The design is very sturdy and firm to last for a while. It was quite easy to attach onto my mirror too. The clamps were tight and stayed on with little to no shaking. My phone stays in a stable position without any shifting so it’s very hard for it to fall off. I love how it includes a 360° rotation feature to be able to have a great adjustment depending on my own preference. I get the best and most convenient access to my phone when having it on the holder. It’s also a much better safety feature too than holding the phone on my own. This phone holder was easy to attach, works like a charm, and is super convenient for driving!

this is my third time buying this product, reason: every time a family me ever get in my car they want the phone holder and I end up giving it to them. it is very stable, easy to install and remove phone, it can adjust to multiple levels, and for the value, this phone holder can’t be beat!

Longevity review. I purchased several of these and have had them just over a year. They’re very nice and sturdy. The multiple areas of adjustment allow flexibility to customize the perfect angles for your choosing. It’s extremely bulky.
It’s too large for older model cars with small windows, but also the arms are too large for newer car rear view mirrors that have a large or box style based with additional features. We were able to make it work for our vehicles with finagling.
Only issue after a year of use the holders require more tightening often and unfortunately when maneuvering a spring on one of the sides popped out and made the holder competely unusable. However, this is an acceptable lifespan and expectation of use for the price point.
Overall it’s a pretty solid purchase and operates s designed. And I would purchase this product or style of product again, because it is stable and does not shake as you drive.
