This harness was truly plug and play. My F1 light had 4 wires red, green, black and white. This harness colors matched the function for the light. So, I did not have to adjust rearrange any wires. It connected to my rear driver side light connector of my 2016 Impreza with no problem. This makes install easy

If you are already installing the 4th brake light for your subie, you need this, just buy it. It will make your life so much easier and you won’t have to cut into any of the stock wiring.
Close to plug and play. Hardest part of installing this specific part is getting the tiny wires from the brake light to properly crimp into the harnesses.

I bought this for a brake light I bought on ebay and the only difference with the way this is wired and the ebay light is the red and green wires are opposite! So if you run into the same issue that’s it

Used it on my 2021 STI. No issues straight forward. Just need a wire stripper and you’re good to go.

Simply works, but don’t expect perfect color match, however shouldn’t matter. Used to install F1 light on WRX STI 2021.
In detail, again color of wires was off but no matter is simple to look at tail light wires to compare. My f1 light also had its colors off so expect a lot of colors that don’t match. The harness itself did not need any modification, aka simply works.

Bought the harness as a plug and play for my F1 style third brake light on my 2011 WRX limitedThe harness connected up just fine but the wiring was wrong. Ultimately had to figure out which wire ran for each light and had to remove and rearrange the pins to work properly. Would recommend that it’s not a direct fit for a 11-14 WRX/STI. Please change description.
