Appeared to be the same for my 2005 jeep Grand Cherokee 5 7. But this new one was a little bit bigger therefore I could not get it past the retaining clip see pic for size different

Disclaimer: I gave this 5/5 because I have nothing to say that it doesn’t work, but I also have nothing to say that it does work either.
Was experiencing rough idle, difficulties starting, and some stall outs periodically on my 2000 Buick LeSabre, and unfortunately there is a laundry list of items that can cause these symptoms. Based on some quick forum research and a handful of YouTube videos, I first replaced the EVAP purge valve with slight improvement to the starting issues but still had rough idle and stall outs.
After checking out a few sensors on the car and having the OEM MAP sensor fall apart in my hand, I was hopeful that this was probably the issue. I replace the OEM with this sensor and drove for a few days without much change for the better. After those, I – unrelatedly – replaced the upper & lower intake manifold gaskets as well as the valve cover gaskets which also didn’t do anything to aid in this issue. I finally replaced the MAF sensor which seems driving for a couple weeks to let the computer adjust to the new sensor seems to have fixed the problem. As far as install goes, this was a direct replacement for the OEM. I put a little bit of silicone grease on the rubber gasket and it easily went into place. Its a bit looser in the holder than what I would like, but that could also be due to the age of the plenum which the holder is built into.

Working fine

I can confirm that the 5S2434 sensor is a direct fit for a 2001 TJ Wrangler Sahara. It was an easy plug n play install with two screws and one electrical connector. It does work as well as the one I removed but hasn’t solved my rough idle issue. I have another couple of air-related sensors to inspect before I completely solve the problem but this one fits well and does indeed work. It’s a good inexpensive alternative to OEM.

This does NOT for my 2009 Dod Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi engine. I removed the OEM from the top rear of the engine and it’s a pretty tight space. When I attempted to install this one it’s physical longer than the original, which means when I try to install it it runs right into the top of the engine and there is no room to twist and rotate it to see it into the correct location. As soon as you try to turn it the bottom plastic connector hits the engine and it won’t turn. I’m returning the part tomorrow, but wanted to note this will NOT for a 2009
Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 hemi engine.

Bought the part after Amazon confirmed that it would fit my vehicle, and the part does not even come close to fitting. Don’t trust Amazon, just go to your local auto parts store
