It works prefect on my tundra fog lights

Don’t say it universal for the rest of gen two. Won’t fit because the item is small.

Switch fits perfectly into my 2009 Toyota Matrix. I wired the Yellow and Blue to the same switched positive, coming off of a splice at the back of the radio. So when my headlights are turned on, the fog light symbol is illuminated. When the switch is activated, the small indicator bar is illuminated. The Red goes to the relay to turn on the fog lights, and black is the ground. The color of the light at night is nearly the same as the rest of my factory dash lights, and it is the perfect brightness. Overall “button” feel is good, but not great.
Update: The switch is still working perfectly, but I have noticed, at night, ring of light surrounding the switch. This is from the main fog light symbol, because the switch isn’t an entirely perfect fit. Just some back light that isn’t totally sealed into the switch. A minor nuisance.

Instructions could be better, wish it was more flush to my OEM similar buttons.

Fits the center console switch location of a 2010 Toyota Tacoma. The center console uses this smaller switch size. The wiring descriptions provided are very awkward and I had a hard time understanding the connections. By ohming out the wires and test connecting the switch, I decided the wiring should be labeled as yellow is the 12V input for the fog light symbol illumination, blue is input for the 12V switch and red is the switched output. Using the switch in this way illuminates the indicator light when the switch is on. The switch light color isn’t a great match for the factory amber color, but it doesn’t bother me since the position of the switch is low in the dash. Overall, I rated the switch 4 stars since it does fit well in the factory location, works as advertised, and is inexpensive

I bought this fog light button to replace the one that came with the aftermarket fog light kit I installed on a 2013 Toyota Corolla. The button that came with the kit lit up green, and I wanted the color to match the other orange interior buttons. Worked perfectly, fit was exact, and it functions like it should. I didn’t use the harness that came with the button, since the other harness was already wired in. I’m glad the harness matches the one that came with the kit.
