Installed the items but the ignition switch wi=orked great for a few days and then the truck stopped noticing it and wouldn’t make the truck run. I have to put the old switch back in to be able for the truck to run

  2. Kenny Munsinger

Looks good. Arrived very fast and will know more once it’s all installed.

  3. carole lifferth

Great fitment! Need to replace my housing because the ignition cylinder was broken when my truck was stolen

  4. Katrina Clark

My 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe doesn’t accept the ignition and key to start, shuts down immediately. Needs to be a chipped key and ignition to work. Works for the doors though.

  5. Don Amell

Does not work with my 2007 Gmc sierra 1500 classic. Truck starts and then dies right away. Tried the programming process 4 times and still doesn’t work. Went and got one from GM and it worked right away with no programming. Save your time and money and just get one for 40 bucks more from the dealership that works. They can even key it for your origional key with your VIN number.

    It don’t work

I bought this fine key set for my 04 Chevy truck…..it cost my over a thousand bucks to get it to run right after I installed it. On a good day the truck started right, then other times after many tries later it would start maybe. There’s a little magnet in the ignition lock cylinder that’s too weak. The computer pointed to other things, so I put in different parts and it didn’t solve the problem until I switched the magnet from the original cylinder into the new cylinder and now it starts all the time..

  8. Weirder than you

For 5 years the key was “A little sticky” then it wasn’t. It was completely broke. I love my suburban i love it to the tune of 350k miles. So i love it. But not go to the dealer and buy a key for 200 bucks. I was stunned this was so reasonable, in it hoes takes 10 minutes to youtube how to do it. 5 to do it… And back out fishing. Best day ever!

  9. Allen

These fit right in, no issue. If you ended up programming your truck, great, but I didn’t have to.

  10. Austin

Bought it for my grandparents the old one had to be wiggled and set just right to crank I replaced it with this one and they have had no issues since
