This DOES NOT fit a 2005 dodge 1500 hemi. However, if it does fit it seems to work well mechanically and it ships fast.

I ordered this for my 2009 Honda Civic and am very well pleased… easy to install and I like that it comes with 2 keys and all you need – – then only downside: it didnt have the key reader, for the keys microchip- but my friend who installed these simply took the reader off of the existing ignition

After installing and paying 200 dollars to get it programmed, the van keeps saying take key out of ignition, so you have to lock and unlock the doors with the original key. I found a video that actually showed how to repair the original assembly which wasnt to difficult to do if you know someone with a drill and some common sense.

We don’t really have fam or help and our Honda broke down. The key would go in but wouldn’t turn. My husband ordered this part (couldn’t beat that price) I can’t remember the exact day but it said it would be in on Sunday when I ordered it either Wednesday or Thursday evening… it came in early Saturday thank God ðŸ™. We know usually when it comes to the key with a Honda you get told that’s a dealership situation (reprogramming the key) we didn’t have a lot of money nor do we have any mechanic skills. We were panicked. My husband and a friend that is a very skilled mechanic took minutes putting it in and we simply have the old part of the key on the new insert part of the key connected and all is prefect!!
