After my daughter accidentally removed the key with the ignition on draining the battery, I realized it was time to change the tumbler in our ZJ. It is a bit tight, tighter than I would like, but hopefully it will ease up as time goes off. Only giving four stars as I am not confident yet with it. Will update if there are any changes as others have pointed out.

Worked ok for a short while, becoming increasingly rough when removing the key. Eventually got to where it wouldn’t turn or release the key without a fight. Pulled the switch and sorted out how to disassemble it. Turns out it had residual metal chips from manufacturing hanging up the tumbler. Cleaned those up and removed some obvious burrs to make it work reasonably well. I got greedy and attempted to swap the key pins with my OEM switch to use the original key. Dimensions are similar, but not interchangeable. Took a couple hours in total.
