Installed this and then the car wouldn’t start. Reinstall the old one and the car still wouldn’t start. Started trying to track down the problem and it ended up being a faulty ignition igniter that was blowing the fuse every time I turned the key. Had to go through process of elimination to find that out. Ended up being a faulty ignition igniter. Pulled igniter out of old distributor and finally got it running again. Returning this piece of junk and buying better quality next time.

replaced my old distributor with 146k on it with this new unit. crv started idling rough immediately after install, i even adjusted it with no prevail. so I put the old back on and idles perfect again. unfortunately this unit was faulty. I’ll just stick with the old OEM for now.

Ordered Nov. 15. It got messed up on March 5. So product worked good only for 4 months. They didn’t screw something inside & it caused misfire in all my cylinders. Opened it up & it basically blew up inside from that screw not being in place. Don’t get me wrong the price is great but you pay for what you get, something cheap.

Got a chance to use it when my wife’s car died. Turns out the water pump died and killed the timing belt. But i was able to put this in on the side of the road before the tow, and works perfectly once I replace belt, pump, new suspension (long overdue), and cam seals. Engine runs perfect.
