LOCAL LAWNMOWER SHOP WANTED $75 FOR THE SAME IGNITION COIL. IF ONE COIL GOES BAD, IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO CHANGE BOTH OF THEM.

Bought two coils to replace one that mice ate the plug wire. Mower’s old so will replace both coils. No installation instructions at all, coils don’t look anything like the originals. In the box, a gapping card and the coil assy, nothing else. Will update after gettting them installed. UPDATE after install: these mounted up pretty easily & using the gapping card, the mower fired up right away. I have a 2007 Craftsman DGS6500 26HP Briggs Intek & the only issue is that the kill wires are pretty tight when the spade connections are made. No clearance issues at all.
Gotta find a way to keep the mice out during storage!
