Product did not fit as described for my engine. Steel pick up material was incredibly thin and one leaf fell off before bolting (or attempting to) it on. If you’re going to replace a coil, use OEM products.
Austin004 –
excellent quality piece and fit perfect on my fathers mower, it was only running for 5 minutes before shutting down on its own. we installed this piece and it runs much better now and has been lasting a few months now. easy to install as well
Diana –
Lawn mower is up and running. This was the part I needed.
Lonnie Tapp –
Works great.
George Candelaria –
Good quality and fit perfectly. Worked gret after installation

This didn’t fit on my mower – it was thicker than mine so it wouldn’t fit, but I’ll bet it works great on the right mower. Purchasing this was my error – not the error of the merchant, but I’m hanging on to it in case it fits on a future mower.
Joe –
No model numbers on the coils. Lots of different models and different coils but once you find the right one it works well.

I had ordered another brand and had to return it because the ground male connector was not in the right location and wire was not long enough to hook up. I returned that and ordered this from another merchant. Worked perfectly and mower runs like new. It used to be the coils in mowers would last until the mower rusted our or fell apart. It seems now, the new mowers with the OEM coil can fail after just a few years. After I fixed this mower and donated it, my own mower wouldn’t start. Tested the coil with ohm meter and it was bad. What are the odds of that? Ordered another coil and carburetor and now my own mower runs like new. The price is right, about half the cost of the OEM coil so if it last just a few years, it is worth it
