These are the replacement filters I bought to replace mine on my boat, my unit also has a water separator on the bottom you reuse. When installing a complete new unit, I advise to disassemble it completely, lube it, and put it back together prior to the install. Mine was extra tough to take apart at the first filter replace. It may have been initially assembled dry. Date ‘em with a sharpie after install, where you can easily see it during inspection.
MAX HEADROOM –
In the dirty old part of the city, where the sun refuses to shine, and the diesel fuel is just like slime, I used these filters, and they worked fine.

I added the filter/water separator to my auxiliary fuel tank transfer line. Every time my system transfers fuel from my auxiliary tank to my main tank it goes through this filter. It works great and give me an added level of filtration.

I this filter to my Kubota BX1880 tractor to replace the fuel filter that is under the tractor. This filter is mounted on the side of the tractor for easy access in changing the two fuel filters. The R12T is the right filter for the job!
