incorrectly listed, then was told it would fit my generator, but did not, THIS WILL NOT FIT THE RYOBI INVERTER GENERATOR RY 2000 SERIES these include 1700 watt models to 2400 watt models, was told OEM but not even close, not even a good copy cat model

I have a Champion 2800 but it actually has the same ratings as the newer 3100. My generator had sat for over two years and wouldn’t start. The carb was gummed up a bit and showed some condensation corrsion. I changed the gas, cleaned out a dirty gas line filter, cleaned the carburetor twice and all the jets which allowed the generator to start, but it only ran with the choke on. No longer sure of where the problem was, I purchased this carburetor. Following the installaiton instructions at YT Carburetor Replacement (3100-3500-Watt Inverters) just to make sure, the generator started immediately as it should.

This Huayi carburetor is the oem brand that came in my Champion 3100 generator. Fit perfectly, fired up on first pull. No more running on half choke to smooth out the rough engine. Also, very inexpensive. Much easier and cost effective to swap out for a new one, rather than trying to clean the old one. Hopefully, this will give me another 400 hours of trouble free operation.

This is a 100% OEM replacement for the Champion 3100 non remote start. I have the remote start with has an electronic choke. It took about 2 minutes to swap over the electronic choke shaft from the old carb to make this one work on my genny. I originally tried to clean my original carb with no luck, for the price it was worth just replacing it. Took about 15 minutes to replace. Generator is running perfectly now, no more surging in eco mode.

Installed in my champion 3100 generator – took about 30 minutes and was easy to do after watching the install video. Pulled the cord twice and the generator fired up perfectly. I ran it for half hour under load immediately after install and it functioned fine. Recommend.
