works well, good price. fidelity install. check you tube for instruction video. These are basically all the same. most other brand videos will get you there with this one.

These instructions are complete garbage! Tiny pictures were taken, and all put on one piece of paper. You can’t even see the pictures. I tried to use a magnify glass and these is not even detail to figure out where the parts are installed. They should have uses better illustrations with drawings.

Wow, such an easy install and something every Jeep owner should have. They install in just a few minutes and I would suggest that you watch the YouTube video on how to install as that seemed to really help me with the quick installation. If you own a jeep you know how frustrating it is to use the hood support rod especially when the retaining clip breaks and it just rattles around when you close the hood, no more of that. It’s also easy to release if you want to fold the hood all the way back. Fast shipping and these were on sale at about half the price of the more expensive ones. Just pop the latch and use minimal effort to start them and stand back as they raise your hood, get them you won’t regret it.

15 min installation. quality is awesome. the only negative comment is the directions are laughable they were tossed aside and common sense took over.

Kit came extremely late! Amazon totally dropped the ball with this replacement unit. Don’t expect it to arrive on time the first time.
Came with terrible instructions that were hard to see. Had a QR code and had to zoom in to see fitment. Otherwise it works pretty good at the moment. I probably would have gone with another company who makes one similar to avoid my headaches if I had to do it over again.
