I ordered this after researching that I had code 23 (2 long flashes followed by 3 short flashes) on my 2016 Honda Foreman. I plugged it in and installed it on the exhaust. Code went away like a charm! Works perfect and turned the flashing check engine light code off immediately.

Fixed the code 23 on my 2016 Rancher!! Easy easy to install, I unhooked the negative battery cable, turned key on and pushed start button to drain system (don’t know if that was necessary). Then installed this, hooked up battery, and the code was gone, and runs perfect! Cheaper then dealership for OEM part!!

Fits perfect. Easy to install. Slightly different design of the part that screws in to the exhaust pipe. I think it’s different because the original design was problematic. Check engine light quit flashing after installation. No need to disconnect battery.

I have a 2016 Honda Ranger TRX420FM1 4×4. It has seen little use (134 miles) and I started getting the flashing engine light indicating an exhaust O2 sensor problem. Apparently lack of use can cause the problem, but I think the sensors were defective from the start. I tried cleaning the old one as some suggested but that did not work; the new one has larger sensor holes so hopefully they solved the problem and these newer ones will last. Took 5 minutes to replace and remove the flashing error code immediately. Instructions: Remove seat, disconnect battery. Locate sensor in exhaust pipe behind left rear tire. Follow wire to connector right under seat, pop connector out its anchor to frame and disconnect. Reach in over the left rear tire with a 17 mm open end wrench and unscrew sensor. You don’t need special Honda tool, but you can only get short bites (1/6 of a turn each time) with the wrench due to the tight clearances. Install new sensor, turning wire lead as you thread it in so lead does not get all twisted. Plug into connector and reattach connector to frame. Connect battery, start and see flashing error code gone! What a pleasure when you take a $50 gamble to save a far bigger dealer repair bill, and it works! Woo hoo, beer time!!

I was getting a code from my honda rancher where the engine light would flash constantly while riding. It turned out that the code said it was the O2 sensor. I pulled the old one out, put the new one in….. runs like new again. No more annoying flashing engine light!

The sensor was the exact same part number of the one that was removed. Installed easily and worked perfect.
