Fits as needed. Didn’t fix my engine misfire code. I had a vacuum leak so I needed a CCV and some other vacuum hoses. Easy to install.

Bought item as described, however, upon trying to install the sensor diameter is too big for the M62TU engine. Not rating for quality but rather for wrong applicability and description. Perhaps it fits an E39 540 with the M62 non Vanos engine.

Replaced the sensor in Bank 1 and it turned off my codes. Diameter of the sensor is a bit bigger than the original, and will fit snug, just push it in and you’re good to go. Installed on a 2001 540i with M62TU engine

This was the wrong size of sensor head for my 1999 740i with the m62tub44 engine. The sensor was significantly larger in diameter than the OE that was existing. Disappointing, but great service from/through AMAZON.
