My 2001 Maxima CEL lit up recently and pushed codes 1320 and 0301. The 1320 pointed to an issue in the ignition/coil system the 301 points to cylinder 1. I pulled out my multimeter and checked power to the electrical connectors as well as resistance on all coils and the ignition condenser. All checked out fine with exception of cylinder 1. Replaced that coil as well as the ignition condenser which also gave me some inconsistent readings during my checks. Cleared error codes and all is good, but considering the car is now over 16yrs old and has over 190k miles with the original coils still in place in the other cylinders, additional replacements are planned in the near future. If you are driving a Nissan and get the codes above, dont eff around. Use the Hitachi. This is the OEM coil. Using aftermarket is asking for a problem.

Hitachi was the OEM. These are running good as new.

These worked great on my Maxima. Replaced all 6 coil packs with Hitachi replacements, no more CEL and smooth acceleration.

Identical to the OEM Nissan coils.
