Replace all 4 coils with Hitachi Coils and the little car is running like a champ. Hitachi coils price was super good to boot.

For the last year, my 2007 Honda Fit Sport has had rough idle characterized by misfires, delayed acceleration, and a noticeable engine stutter whenever idling or reversing. At times the engine would just cut out altogether and I would have to put it back in park and restart it. Needless to say, this presented a significant issue in my day to day driving experience. In my attempts to fix the problem, I changed the spark plugs, had the throttle body cleaned, took my car to the dealer, and none of it helped. Nobody seemed to know what to do to fix the problem.
After looking through Honda Fit Forums, many people seemed to have a similar problem with high-milage Fits and said that changing the coils fixed the problem. So in a last ditch effort, I purchased four of these coils from Hitachi. After installing the new coils, my car’s engine feels new again. I can hardly even tell the engine is on now when idling because it feels so smooth.
Replacing the coils was simple and easy. All you need is socket wrench with 10mm bit and possibly an extension to reach the hard bolts in the back.
1) First, disconnect the battery
2) Look at the top of the engine, on the side facing toward the cabin of the car. There should be a plastic bridge with four separate black wires extending into the back of the engine. These wire should have blue connecting clips that attach them to the black plastic coils.
3) Detach each of the four blue plastic clips by pinching them and pulling apart.
4) Each coil is secured to the engine by a 10mm steel bolt on the right side of the coil. Use the socket wrench and the 10mm bit to detach the bolts. The last two bolts are harder to reach/see so you may need an extension.
5) Once the bolt is removed, remove the old coil by pulling and twisting. You may feel resistance, but the only thing holding it in is a rubber seal so be persistent.
6) Insert new coils, pressing and twisting firmly until they are all the way in and the hole on the right side for the bolt is touching the engine block.
7) Screw all the bolts back in after replacing their respective coils, reattach the blue clips to the new coils, and reconnect the battery.

Llegaron 3 iguales a las ofertadas con la referencia perfecta y una de otra referencia que no servía al vehículo. Tuve que comprar una aparte para completar las 4. Afortunadamente llegó la referencia adecuada, pero tuve que pagar más para que llegara más rápido. Las instalaron y funcionan muy bien! Llevo 20 días de uso.

I bought four of them 60,000 miles ago.
Two of them failed, I replaced two of them not even 10,000 miles ago 6 months ago, and now one of those has failed.
There is no warranty and if you go to the troubleshooting website it just sends you down a sales pitch.

Works well for Honda Fit 2008, the engine light was on with a code related to misfire in the 1s cylinder.
Replacing ignition coil with Hitachi one fixed it.

Bought one of these coils to fix a misfire on a 2008 Honda Fit. Ten minutes and problem solved. This is a Hitachi coil which was the OEM supplier for my car. Ignore the reviews that mention a part sticker versus engraved on the coil. Hitachi is trying to cut costs too. Every website that sells this coil shows exactly what you see here on Amazon. Purchased another to have a spare on hand.

Recommended by a number of online sources and forums. Hitachi makes reliable and great parts supposedly – these are made in Japan. Perfect fit for the original coils at a low cost.
Auto Zone suggested a fuel injector replacement may be needed for the P0303 code, but I read the sparks or the coil would go first. Easy and 5 minute fix for under $50 🙂
