The Mazda dealer wanted to charge me about $1k for this part and Midas wanted to charged $1.5k. I decided to replace it myself. The vehicle runs nicely after replacing this and the mass air flow sensor, saving myself about $1800!

I installed the new part and cleared the codes from the old part. Ran it for a while to make sure everything was installed right. The next day I drove it to work and back. That night it started to fail too. F0170 errors. It still kinda works but it’s not putting out the pressure the car needs. It feels sluggish and seems to have been getting worse over the next few days before giving up on it.
