This item is not for my 07 Mercedes SL550. Don’t waste your time, just get OE at dealership.

I got busy and didn’t try installing these in time to return, but don’t make the same mistake I did by buying them!! The pics show this filter next to my OEM one, night and day difference! Same shape but these have a paper frame and much thinner fins without the charcoal trapped between layers to actually filter the air-probably because they are only one layer, and it is paper too! Also notice the cheap foam glued haphazardly around the edges. Because I was stuck with them, I tried putting them in, but without the proper housing and release tabs on that frame, they would not stay in place—don’t try to save a buck, it will cause you more headaches!
