I recently purchased the Lemxily Heavy-Duty Battery Disconnect Switch (275A, 12-48V) for my truck to address a parasitic power draw when the vehicle sits unused for extended periods. Overall, this switch is a reliable solution, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
Pros: Installation was a breeze, taking less than 15 minutes with basic tools. The switch feels sturdy and operates smoothly, providing confidence in its ability to cut power effectively. It’s fairly well-made, with a design that fits top post batteries perfectly, making it versatile for cars, RVs, boats, and marine vehicles. Since installing it, I’ve noticed no further battery drain, solving my issue.
Cons: My only gripe is the use of some plastic components, which feel less durable compared to the metal parts. While they haven’t caused issues yet, I’d prefer all-metal construction for added longevity in harsh conditions.
Final Thoughts: The Lemxily switch is a practical, cost-effective solution for managing battery power. It’s ideal for anyone dealing with parasitic draws or wanting a reliable cutoff for long-term vehicle storage. Despite minor concerns about plastic parts, it performs well and is a great addition to my truck.

For the price this is a great little simple, yet easy tool. My camper has no master shut off and I wasn’t wanting to mount one to my frame or front of the body like some are mounted. This device allows me to cut off my battery when storing my camper so it doesn’t run down my battery. I installed it on the negative side and it works great, no more disconnecting the battery terminal everytime. Also, it is small enough that it installed under the cover to my battery cover that I have, that is great!
I would highly recommend as an easy solution without having to tap a screw into your frame or body to mount a master shutoff.

I had a parasitic drain on a battery for an old Ford Ranger and we couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Until I got this little gadget, I had to physically disconnect the battery every time I turned off the truck or it wouldn’t start next time! Once installed, instead of having to do the disconnect thing, all I had to do was turn a knob. Great little contraption. I had no idea these things even existed. Glad someone told me about it!

I ordered this lemxily heavy duty battery switch to place on my bass boat to help prevent the battery from accidentally draining when not in use. The unit is ok. The casting seems a but rough and I can see imperfections in the metal. I fear this will cause early failure, but time will tell. The switch is stiff and feels solid. It would be better if the switch included covers to minimize chance of accidental arcing, but it didn’t mention having one in the description, so it really wasn’t expected, just an improvement for the future. It does seem a little large, but hopefully that results in the unit being sturdy and lasting over time.

Great device, fit barely in my Corolla battery space, but I would suggest to the manufacturer they make it 1 inch shorter

Much heavier duty than I expected. This battery disconnect switch feels like it will last for decades. The knob is difficult to rotate…but in a good way. It gives the feeling that a solid mechanical connection is happening inside, and it also prevents the switch from being rotated accidentally.
I won’t be able to test it’s actual function until later this year when I get my boat out of storage, but initial impressions are extremely positive.

Thisxis the first cutoff Ive liked – most are bulk and cantilever off the edge of battery which creates all sorts of issues. Also they FEEL janky! This one is small enough to fit on top of my battery and the turnimg knob feel solid- as does the thump of the connection when it is turned. The knob motion does NOT pull the way lever types do. No key to lose or remote. This is great for wroking on vehicles, golf carts, machinery as well as disabling them or to prevent draining of batteries for long term storage. I ordered for my Cushman Titan to make working on it easier as well as to prevent battery drain. The only possible shortcoming is that the battery connector is the shorter type but its not really an issue like it was on the lever cut offcas the actuon of using it produces no fulcrum pressures. It is tight, fits well and fully connects & disconnects as expected. Definitely the most durable feeling one ive used out of 4 different types. I definately would recommend THIS cutoff & can honestly say ive never liked any of the others enough to say that – in fact Ive steered people away from every other one I’ve used before. My favorite before this was probably the red plastic key type- this is better same action , better built , on the battery rather than remote + no key to lose or tether! This may not fit on top of all batteries – still sturdy when sticking off the side – as/long as you have space . Check my pics on the grid board for measurements!
