Great pads. Good quality. Comes with brake grease. So far so good. No complaints. Fits perfect on my 4th gen Mustang.

After a lot of research on many different websites, talking with friends, and comparing prices, I chose to go with the Hawk HPS pads. They give the best all around performace for spirited street driving with less dust, longer wear, and (most important) shortest stopping distances. I have a 5.0 Liter Mustang with many suspension mods and after driving on them for about 3 weeks, these pads are the best I have ever used. The stopping distances are shorter than the ceramic pads I had on before. I was afraid the semi-metallic composition of the Hawk pads would create more dust, but they don’t. Very little actually. No noise. I was careful when I installed them to use the grease that came with them and I have no noise. They are so quiet that now I can hear my rear pads a little. Guess I will be getting some Hawk HPS’s for the rear too.

I have a 427 Cobra (replica) with manual brakes. It would stop but you had to STAND on Them in time. I changed the front and rear pads to Hawk and Man-O-Man it will stop now. I’d say the pads made about 2x the stopping of the other pads I was using. The hotter they get the better they stop. They do produce some dust but it’s minor!

I have used these pads on my 2003 Mustang GT for nearly ten years and the pads offer a phenomenal braking improvement over the stock pads. The pads do not create any more dust than any other brake pads and to be honest, if you take care of your vehicle and wash it on a regular basis, you’ll remove the brake dust anyway. Be sure to burnish the pads to your new or newly surfaced rotors so that you obtain the maximum braking potential. Burnishing puts a thin film of the pad material onto the rotors and improves your braking performance. The instructions for burnishing are on the box and it only takes a few minutes to complete the task. These are great pads and they were competitively priced (Amazon was as cheap as anyone that I researched)and the free shipping makes it a slam dunk to buy them from Amazon. I just installed these pads today and my car stops like it should as well from high speeds as it does from normal, highway speeds.

Great Pads as advertised. Took awhile to get the surface to be conditioned and reduce the generated heat.
Lot’s of dust!

These are not ceramic brake pads.
I REPEAT, THESE ARE NOT CERAMIC BRAKE PADS.
The Hawk ceramic brake pads come in a yellow box and are HB274Z.610. The Z denotes ceramic, and F denotes ferro-carbon.

These pads plus DBA855S rotors and I can drastically feel the difference in stopping power.

Produce a firmer feel than OEM pads. Less heat than OEM as well.
Did produce quite a bit of dust, may just be me though.
Nice product overall.
