I got this to use as claybar lube. I have not had a chance to use it yet but am looking forward to doing so. If it doesn’t meet expectations, I will update the review and star rating, but from what Ive seen and read this should work well.

Works good on my steel slot rims on my truck! Easy to dilute and easy to apply! Doesn’t leave a film and great value for the money!

This iron removers packaging was very nice. It was double boxed and the jug has custom inserts to insure that the bottle won’t move around or be damaged. This bottle was completely full to the top which was great to see. The iron remover definitely smelled like usual iron remover, it had a clear color and I was able to refill my old iron remover bottle with this one. The iron remover performed very well and it turned purple in reaction with a ferrous contaminants. The wheel came out to be very clean at the end of it. Overall this is a fantastic value. You can also use it on paint as well.

I got the H.O.W Polish Iron Remover to help prep my vehicles before washing, and it has become an essential part of my detailing routine. I used it on my 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ X, ’92 Cherokee, and ’08 Commander, and the results were fantastic!
This is the first step before a proper soap wash, and it works wonders at removing all the built-up pollution, brake dust, and iron particles that you don’t even realize are stuck to your paint. I sprayed it on both the topside and underside, and within minutes, I could see the product doing its job—breaking down and dissolving all that hidden grime.
Now, this won’t make your paint smooth yet—that’s what a clay bar is for—but it deep cleans and gets rid of contamination that regular soap just can’t touch. Once I rinsed it off, the surface was visibly cleaner and much better prepped for the next steps in detailing.
If you’re serious about keeping your ride in top condition, don’t skip this step! It’s perfect for cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, and even boats. Highly recommend adding this to your detailing arsenal!

I’m not a professional but I love keeping my cars clean and detailed at all times.
I started with the undercarriage and brakes of my truck just to test this out. Left it on for a few minutes before spraying off. You can see the reaction with iron as it turns purple and washes away contaminants.
Has a fairly strong smell so best to use outside in a driveway.
