After installing the Throttle Cable. The engine speed control wouldn’t function correctly. Thinking that maybe the cable was bent inside. After disassembling the control by removing 2 screws. Comparing it the the old control. The Lever and Barrel and cable was assembled backwards. Reassembled it correctly and now it worked as it should. Waisted and hour thinking that the engine control was messed up but it was a brand new throttle control that was messed up from the maker. Not very impressed.

A perfect fit for a broken throttle handle on an older model john deere.

Works good for my needs but the end does not twist. Had to straighten out the wire cable and bend it to match the linkage on my carb.
