I used this gas cap for my 2011 Chevrolet Traverse. I was concerned that my car would not recognize it. My traverse did recognize this cap as a suitable replacement, not causing any extra engine light appearances. I feel this cap was a little tricky to install the small plastic tether portion. I thought I was going to break it, but alas I did not. This cap comes with no instructions on the best way to install the tether, so I had to guess.

So, i got this to replace the old one. it works on, no binding. tether cord long enough to be able to use the hanger on the fuel door.
