Fun Guy –
The one on the left is the original part(see pic). The one on the right is the one i purchased here. You can plainly see that this part is not the same. It will not work. This CV shaft spindle is too short and the retainer ring will not lock into place. It will leave you stranded at best. In my case it was dangerous.

The inside shaft was too short and would not reach the groove for the clip to hook up

So jeep used different differentials, one was limited slip which takes a shorter shaft, and one with out LS which takes a longer shaft. Amazon doesn’t know what you have, easiest way to tell is if you have a shiftable transfer case, if you do then you have an LS equipped diff, or count the bolts on rear diff cover, 10 = no LS if 12 than you have the LS, don’t blame the supplier if you don’t know what you have and order the wrong part.

I waited for sometime to review this axle considering you can’t tell anything about a part like this out of the box. Fitment was perfect. Installation was a breeze. I had now have over 20,000 miles on this axle with absolutely no problems whatsoever great value for the money.

I am very disappointed in this product because I installed these axles on my Jeep and they kept popping out . Come to find out these are shorter then the actual ones . Causing me more money in repairs then I actually had to do. I had to replace my front differential because of this issue . I am very upset . Now I am ordering the actual ones . My car been in the shop since February looking for differential due to this issue

Been over a month now and no problems. Fit my Jeep commander four wheel drive perfectly. Identical to the original cv axle.

I put this axle in my 05 grand with a 5.7. I threw the old axle away as it was a non core. I drove about 70 miles and I stopped for gas and heard this axle just squealing. Had to drive all the way home to get another car to take on vacation with my family. I ordered an axle from Napa it was actually cheaper with a warranty but now I have to give this axle as a core and eat the cost of it. Long story short buy a better axle this one is not worth the pain it brings.
