When I received the item it had quite a bit of rust on it but I didn’t think that would affect the operation so I installed it anyway. Almost immediately it started squeaking and now it’s as bad as the original one. I tried to contact the seller but got no reply.

Edit: I’m gonna own it, the previous review was 100% user error. The extra length was from not having it seated fully. It took a few taps with a 4lb mini sledge to get it past the secondary wall and locked completely in place.
Spent all morning taking everything apart, pulling the old CV axle and installing this new one, only to find out it’s too long and my wheel hub assembly won’t set back in place. Once I get the new one back out I’ll look, but I’m thinking the shaft is about 2-3″ too long.

The entire inside portion of the axle that is supposed to slide into the transaxle is made completely wrong.
This axle might fit a compass with a cvt or manual transmission, but I have no way of verifying that.
