No issues in installing this axle. Had to twist and slide it in. C lock engaged and it was good to bolt into place. Nice quality.

fit my 06 jetta perfectly. to my pleasant surprise it came with a new bolt. good quality part.

My unit came with a 27 mm hex head Axle Bolt which did not match OEM 12 point 24 mm (VW 2012 Golf 2.5). The torque requirements for these two types of bolts are slightly different – instructions for torque is not included. However, the fit and spline count was correct. Note: You should not reuse your stock Axle Bolt.

So far so good. Part fit with no issue. Would have been nice to have included a small wedge of plastic to wedge out the old joint, but I found a large chisel did the trick.
