Fits like a glove on my jdm 2002 wrx

Perfect fit for the rear of a 96 legacy outback. Do yourself a favor and order some lateral link bolts to replace the rusted ones you are bound to encounter. Once you get past the lateral link bolts, this job is incredibly easy.

Seemed like a quality product and the spline count is good, but it was too long for my 2001 Forester L, 5 m/t. I gave it a shot since I had it, but either the strut bolts would go in but not the bolt to the lateral links or only 1of the 2 strut bolts would go in. When I got the 2nd strut bolt as close as possible, the axel would bind up trying to spin it (see photo at diff). Also the hub end is a different shape (see side by side and photo at hub). Subaru lists two separate part # for P/S (28491A) and D/S (28491B). This part (GSP NCV66903) did not work on either side, although it says it’s interchangeable.
