This is the second time I replaced the axles. The first time after the OEM boots failed, I purchased these instead of OEM due to the price. I only got 4-5 years from them before they failed again. I had to put a pipe clamp on one of them because their clamp failed in days after installation.
But I just replaced again with the same ones. My sons car is a 2001 Pathfinder. I keep thinking the rest of the car does not have long to live – but it keeps proving me wrong.
My only complaint is the longevity of the boots!

Axle bolts up but inside flange is over a 1/4 inch longer causing severe binding and transfer case to not engage when moving, axle looks good but Does not work.

I replaced both front axles on my 98 pathfinder and these fit great! Remember to use loctite. I only have 1k miles on them but fit and finish was great and the rubber boots seemed stout.
