I ordered both left and right shafts because the left, (Drivers Side), had leaked out all the grease, and I decided to replace both. I replaced the drivers side first and left the passenger side for later. I needed the car, and the install was smooth. A few weeks later when I had the time I went to do the right side. I struggled to put the new in. After many tries I pulled it back out to inspect it. I noticed the splines on this one did not match. Yes I should have compared them first, but since the other was correct I expected the same trouble free install. The return date lapsed and now I have to buy one locally.
In the picture the new one is on the left, and you can see the issue on the bottom. The part number was correct, I just they just used the wrong end on this one.
EDIT: My bad. This part did fit. The problem was with the retaining ring in the carrier bearing assembly. It was distorted when I removed the old axle.
