Traditional axle nut size for a 2006 e83 is a 36mm axle nut! 41mm or a 1 5/8 in SAE axle nut is what comes with this aftermarket axle.
You can use a BMW axle nut and use the 36mm axle Nut, instead of what is provided!
The axle feels quality and slightly heavier than OEM!
Will update after 30k miles if it last that long.
