Almost caused me an accident, it came out of the transmission luckily wasnt driving on the highway. Mechanic told me that clip was not holding the shaft in the transmission probably is out of specification and the rubber boots are too soft compared to the oem shafts
Andrew Storlie –
it doesnt lock into front diff. shaft is not same as original and now that its greasy a.F. theres no way i can return it. absolute junk. im going to try use the boots on my axle. JUNK!!!!
All County Gutter Service –
The shaft fit and worked fine. I noticed the outer boot had one more rib than the original which was nice as that is the rubber boot that failed originally on the factory shaft, but was slightly concerned to see the inner boot had less than the factory number of ribs. The inner boot of course flexes much less than the outer so I guess we will have to see if it survives.
Ryan Callahan –
It said that it fit a Durango but I actually had to shave a bit off the chamfered edge to lock into the transmission. It couldn’t go far enough into it to make the lock ring fit
Andrew Storlie –
Lock ring is too small for it to lock into your front diff. It cost me $1900 in repairs after my front diff destroyed itself cause the axle slipped out.
Mike Rob –
Not quality at all broke down after a few months less than 3 very unimpressed
