I usually love Griots products, but this one just doesn’t make the cut. I tested this product against Rain-x and just ordinary glass cleaner. The Rain-x beat Griots hands down. Rain-x provided much better rain performance and was more durable over the test month. The Griots only provided moderate rain performance and really only lasted a couple of weeks before there was no demonstrable effects from it’s application to the windshield. The ordinary glass cleaner was actually only slightly less performant than the Griots, and much easier to use. It did require about one application per week as it isn’t designed for durability. For reference…there were numerous rain events during my 3 month test period. The car was exposed to the elements consistently throughout the test period. Each cleaner was used for one month. I am not a chemist, so I do not fully understand the chemical processes used in each of the tested items.

Great water beading and decent cleaner. The biggest down side is the streaking as others have mentioned. You’ll need an extra cloth to buff out the streaks.

This was recommended by a friend in the car care business! My windows came out CRYSTAL CLEAR! Looked like I had no windows on the car! What a pleasure to drive with the windows so clear! When it rained the water just flew off the windows while driving! Great stuff!

This product works great, is streak free and leaves a clean window with a nice shine. If you have a bug splatter or pine sap I would clean with something else to clean first and then use this product. I used this product while cars were in the garage and I did not use in direct sunlight and was very happy.

Firstly I really like Griots products and have used a number over the years.
I have used their Glass Polish and Glass Sealant products over the years. A bit labor-intensive.
I decided to give this a try. Cleaned the windshield and side-windows with Griots regular glass cleaners. Then sprayed this product on and wiped off. Gave me the same water-beading result as the polish and sealant products.
Now, it may not last as long, but it only takes a few minutes as opposed the ‘polish/sealant’ application route.
I ‘like it’.

Recently tried this Griots Garage – Ceramic Glass Cleaner, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The product claims to provide a streak-free shine, but I found it incredibly difficult to use. Despite following the instructions meticulously, it left numerous streaks on my windshield that were nearly impossible to remove.
One of the most concerning issues was the terrible reflection at night. Street lights and oncoming traffic headlights created a glare that significantly impaired my visibility, making nighttime driving quite hazardous. Additionally, after using this cleaner, my windshield wipers started skipping during rain, which had never happened before. This skipping made it even harder to see clearly in wet conditions.
Overall, I cannot recommend this. It not only fails to deliver on its promises but also introduces new problems that compromise safety. Save your money and look for a more reliable product.
