Griot’s product are my go to, from shampoos to towels. Nice product to have, but it takes a little bit of an elbow grease to apply and for what it is it’s little pricey. Takes a while to apply but results are great, but to be honest, you can get something else for less that will perform exactly the same. Glass coating helps a lot when you’re on a highway in a monsoon and you don’t have to use your wipers because water beats off really quick.

Strong performer. Noticeable difference between treated and untreated sections. Instructions are very specific while being clear to follow. No issues with wiper skipping so far. Excellent value for money, this is an 8oz bottle and you will use less than 1 oz per front windshield application using the recommended two coats.
The only issue I ran into during application is this did not buff out well using a dry microfiber after the 10 minute curing of the 2nd coat. If you are still left with hazing while trying to buff off, then use a damp microfiber (water) and this will easily cut through that remaining haze leaving a crystal clear surface, so do not panic.
Note, ALL glass coatings will adhere better with glass that has been properly prepped. Sometimes this requires claying, sometimes polishing in order to remove the level of staining/contamination/weathering that can led to poor adhesion of coatings on top. Not all glass is the same, this is why you see some saying they haven’t noticed a difference at all compared to untreated sections. I almost did not buy after seeing these reviews, but I’m glad I gave it a chance because it took extremely well to my windshield. Chances are low that you have the kind of glass that this does not adhere well to with proper prep.
Also note, Rain-X is a fantastic product when fresh, however the difference between Rain-X and these types of glass coatings is their ability to resist abrasion (constant wiper use). Rain-X abrades off much faster than high quality glass coatings, although you might not notice a difference in performance at first, coatings should easily outlast Rain-X.
I will update my review if the durability does not hold up.

Not sure how much better it is compared to rainx, but it seems to work just as well as that. WIll see how long it lasts as rainx wasn’t a super long lasting product.

This kit delivers outstanding performance and value. After applying it to the windshield of my first vehicle, I was surprised by how much product I still had left—easily enough for at least one or two more full windshields. The beading and visibility boost are on a completely different level compared to typical rain-repellent sprays. Water just flies off the glass, drastically reducing the need for wipers, even in steady rain.
Application is straightforward, but be mindful of the removal window—if you let it sit too long before wiping off, it can be a bit stubborn. That said, the end result is well worth the extra care. The glass is left crystal clear and slick to the touch. If you’re looking for a longer-lasting, professional-grade upgrade from basic hydrophobic products, this is the way to go. Highly recommended for anyone serious about keeping their visibility sharp and their glass protected.
