I have used this product for years and it is amazing! My car can be completed in 30 to 40 minutes. I use it on the glass windows and I get no streaks or smears. I have also used it on mirrors inside my house and glass tiles in the bathrooms. It works best if you get their specialized cleaning cloths to buff the surface out. Goes on easy and removes easy. My car always looks nice and it’s so quick. The fact that I don’t need to use water is a huge plus since I live in a condominium complex. You can actually start to work on the vehicle and not finish and come back at a later time and pick up where you left off. LOVE this purple stuff!

I dilute this at about 2oz of product to 32oz of water in a spray bottle and use it mostly for a quick detailer. You never want to use a product like this on a very dirty vehicle because all you’ll be doing is scratch your vehicles finish. I use this only if my vehicle is just a little dusty either from airborne dust or pollen. I spray on a liberal amount, let it dwell for a few seconds then wipe clean to a beautiful very shiny hydrophobic shine. I use on my windows too, inside too and on my interior also. And believe or not I use it on my stainless steel kitchen appliances too, again getting a beautiful fingerprint free finish.

There’s no shortage of no-rinse car washes these days. Optimum was considered the gold-standard for a long time, but the other big names like Griots, Adams, CarPro, etc. have all entered the ring. I decided to give this a try after using ONR for the last two years, mostly curious if it cleaned any better or perhaps had some other magical property I hadn’t thought of.

My overall impression is that this product is more slippery than ONR when used at the recommended dilution level. It was apparent right away that my microfibre cloth glided across the paint easily, and this was the case on every panel I cleaned. Impressive, but it’s not like ONR was drastically worse.

Cleaning power seems equivalent to ONR, but none of these products are ever something I would use on a filthy car. I use them for weekly touch-ups to remove dust and water spots. That’s not a knock against the Griot’s product. It works perfectly well for these scenarios and I didn’t have any problems with re-washing a panel.

I do prefer the scent of this over ONR. Whereas ONR has a more chemical or soapy smell, this stuff smells like cheap car wash soap which is kinda fun.

Given the price premium this carries over ONR, I can’t really see any reason to use it unless it goes on sale. Sure, it’s more slippery and smells nicer than ONR, but that doesn’t justify the 30-50% price premium. Does a more slippery surface mean less potential scratches? Maybe, but again, ONR wasn’t really a problem in this area. I think Griot’s could give ONR a run for its money if they brought the price down a bit, as the Griot’s name carries a lot of prestige. The problem is that ONR is considered the leader in the no-rinse wash space so dethroning them will take a miracle product or something that is a much better value.

Terrific product. In 40 years of washing cars this is the easiest to use, most water conservative, speediest, least messy, and effective way to wash a car that I have ever used. Two steps- apply on an area, wipe it off and that’s is all. A typical car takes maybe 2 gallons of water in a bucket and a capful of product. The car shines . No final rinsing and drying needed. Very little water winds up on the ground, it stays in the bucket for easy disposal down the drain. Threw away all my old fashion car cleaners that require an initial rinse, apply soap, rinse away, and dry products.

Work awesome. Follow directions and easy waterless wash
