This 20H graphene ceramic coating exceeded my expectations. It provides a deep, mirror-like gloss that makes my car look brand new. The hydrophobic properties are amazing, water beads right off, keeping the surface cleaner for longer. The Autokcan graphene ceramic coating with advanced 20H hardness ceramic coating is designed for automobiles. It is a long lasting hydrophobic high gloss nano graphene coat kit. The process requires a lot of preparation work and it is very labor intensive to complete an entire automobile.
This was my first experience with any ceramic coating product for my car. The kit includes a 70ml bottle of graphene ceramic coating, five polishing cloths, one towel, two pair of protective gloves, a sponge and a user manual. I had to purchase a couple of clay polishing and cleaning bar kits to clean the car prior to applying the ceramic coating. I know some people really enjoy detailing and polishing or waxing their car. I am not one of them so this process was a bit grueling for me and I would not attempt it again. But I will say the car looks better the shine is staying longer and airborne items do not stick to it like they used to. I love the outcome but the journey getting to the end was exhausting.

My first experience with a ceramic coating was using it on my 36 year old Toyota pickup that had a huge problem with the clear coat bubbling up and flaking off. Couldn’t afford to repaint, so I decided to try a ceramic coating as a Hail Mary to give it some sort of protection. I never expected it, but the coating actually stopped the clear coat flaking in its tracks! That completely sold me, so I wanted to try it again on my 53 year old VW Beetle that was repainted in 2014. It’s a show car and a daily driver, so I’ve kept up with maintenance, and I didn’t really have to do all the prep work that is described in the instructions and can be intimidating. All I did was wash it well and dry it. I didn’t bother to wipe the car down with alcohol, and I didn’t do that with my truck either. Honestly, I think all the prep work is meant for hard-core detailers. You can get away without most of the prep work if you’re not a perfectionist who’s peering down the side of the car looking for any kind of flaw. I ain’t got time for that. I did notice that the instructions didn’t include a few bits of info, like, how often do I need to add more coating to the applicator; do a few drops cover a whole door panel, or do they only cover a 1 foot by 1 foot area? I was able to find answers to my questions by revisiting the product listing, but I still don’t know the answer to this one. I also had trouble figuring out exactly when the product was “flashing” and it made me nervous because the instructions stated if I waited too long, I wouldn’t be able to buff it properly. Since I was doing this in optimal conditions, I just set a timer for 2 minutes after I completed each panel on the car, then buffed it off. Whether I waited long enough is something I’ll need to determine later after I’ve driven the car around for a while. I understand why the applicator is so small; so you can work it into tiny spaces. But my old hands had trouble holding onto it, and having to hold the white cloth over the applicator seemed like an unnecessary inconvenience. If you’re gonna make me use the white cloth over the applicator, how about some slots on the applicator so the cloth has something to cling to? Bottom line, I love ceramic coatings and I think they’re worth the effort. They definitely last longer than wax, but I’m skeptical of the years long claims. Like other people have also mentioned, if this lasts even a year I’ll be happy.

While I realize this product is marketed for cars, I purposely ordered it with the intent of glass and water-prone areas around the house. Don’t follow my lead unless you know what you are doing, know what surfaces can be coated, and assume the risks.
I own a few ceramic applications, some silicone, a couple graphene. Some people swear by graphene, however, I’ve found on my vehicles that the silicone-based compounds with a higher amount of silicone perform longer, but that’s anecdotal.
I’ve applied this to the interior and outer windows, glass on appliances, dishwasher, range, fridge, keezer, and even some stainless items. After about a month, it’s performing like a mid-grade ceramic coating. Nothing bad, nothing exceptional as I see some areas already losing the repelling function. But again, there are variables such as humidity, contact, heat, temp, etc. I can’t knock the product since it’s performing like others.

– easy to apply in my opinion but this is my first actual ceramic coating from a bottle versus the spray versions or glass coating I have used in the past.
– applied to cleaned nickle plated motorcycle tank, tail and headlight bucket.
– flashed in about 2 min or so in 75 degree weather

Coating should last a long time as motorcycle is garaged kept and ridden 1x a week.
Overall, not as bad to apply as the motorcycle parts are small and the material was easy to clean.
