I use this for removing road tar from my car, nothing else comes close. A couple of sprays and the tar wipes away with ease. Sometimes I’ll have to scrub for a few seconds, but that’s it. I couldn’t be happier.

My daughter loves stickers and sticks them everywhere, some of them are very difficult to remove, so I bought the product and it turned out to be great. I had a sticker on the back of car window, that was peeling off due to trips through the car wash. I saw the commercial on TV a few weeks ago and decided to try it. It took the remaining sticker off the window as well as the residue from the sticker. Can’t even tell it was even there. I recommend it.

Overview
My last use was on a matt finished motorcycle tank. Matt paint can be a challenge for some solvents and polishes. This work great to remove the residual glue one I remove the stickers.
I prefer it over WD40 just because WD40 gets all over everything (really hard to control the aerosol spray)
I removed 2 stickers from the gas tank and a large sticker from the chain guard in about 5 minutes.
Tip: To get the stickers off with no harm to the paint, I boiled a kettle of water and slowly poured it over the stickers. Then I was able to get a corner up and peel them off in one piece (they were plasticized) Apply the Goo Gone and immediately spread it around with your finger to control drips. Wait 3 or 4 minutes and use a lint free cloth to clean off the glue. Rinse with a bit of water to remove any residual Goo Gone.
Pros
• Works great
• No paint damage (including the matt finish on my current bike)
• No strong odour
Cons
• Not really a con, but a little dab will do. I will lose the bottle long before I make a dent in it. They should consider selling it in smaller single use containers (like takeout condiments )
Recommendation – Would buy it again and would highly recommend.

Not sure if I get the right Goo Gone for my purposes, because the results were lackluster.
I used this to try and remove leftover adhesive residue on a vehicle dashboard. To be fair, this adhesive was some serious industrial grade stickiness. The Goo Gone had no affect. It made my dashboard nice and shiny… but didn’t remove any of the adhesive.
I also tried it on leftover residue on my vehicles door where there used to be strips of plastic to prevent door dings. It really didn’t do much.
Might be good for stickers and scotch tape. But for stronger adhesive I would not recommend. Returned.

I purchased this product to remove auto wheel weight residue/remains from old weights. Anyone who has attempted this knows the difficulty. This product worked very well. I’m impressed. Took about 15 minutes per wheel to remove the residue, clean, and apply a graphite sealer. The key is to apply the product, let it work for a few minutes, and then scrub/agitate. Then remove with a terry towel or shop cloth. Apply a second time, repeat process. Then a third. Each pass removes more residue, leaving a clean surface. Good product.
