Tres bien, fit direct en place MAIS il ny avait pas de filet pour visser les bolt… j’ai dû tarauder les trous moi même …

Original GM.part. Perfect fit and function. Would buy again.

Worked great on my 2003 Buick Century. It’s a pain to get in, be aware of that. Not any fault of the part, just GM’s genius engineers. Only thing that was a problem was there are three holes in this that should have been threaded, but they were not- fortunately I was at a machine shop so an easy fix, but be aware of that, some of these may not be threaded. BYOT, Bring Your Own Tap. Haha.

My 2002 Impala had the column shifter just snap right off while backing out of parking space. The original part had broken in 2 which I attributed to old age so I fixed the problem successfully with this product. Several months later my whole car started “separating” and “bending” literally overnight. Suspension seperating from chassis. This part was broken again. So I suspect it must connect to both parts of the vehicle that were breaking apart, and therefore my car had been crumbling for a while. I hit a deer once but no wrecks. Had to junk my Impala with 75K miles. Paid $150 on a Sunday to have it removed. The seperating chassis was about to snap the fuel line off in a matter of hours. Like i Said, it had been a slow crumble for 6 months, then over night it almost bending fast enough to see it, with new stuff breaking off every hour or so. Wasnt sure to call Junkyard/tow-truck or the fire dept! Anyway, feel like this part helped me retroactively determined wtf happened to my car.

great fit

Just got it today and swapped everything over from my broken bracket in less than 20 mins. Durability looks to be on par with the original part. Some people have complained about the lack of threads on the part for the screws; don’t worry about it, the screws self tap into the part. I’m sure this will last as long as the original as long as it stays tightly mounted to the column.

Would of like them to have been tapped but they are self tapping bolts. Did not see that in the description.

1998 3500 truck auto tilt steering wheel the part is not threaded due to the factory bolts are self tapping bolts works perfect with factory bolts after install works just like factory great part.
