The oil fill cap on my Chevy Cruze was leaking. It has almost 95k miles on it so I guess the o-ring was just dried out. Apparently, there are two different styles of oil cap for this car. I don’t know what engine or model years use what cap, but I could not find the cap for my year and engine. I decided to replace the o-ring on the old cap and give this one a try. When it arrived I was skeptical. I removed the old part and really didn’t think this one was going to fit, but with a little stretching it fit right in to place. I was again concerned when I tried to put the cap back on with the new o-ring in place. It was a bit of a tight fit but I got it on. It’s been several weeks and no leaks.
