Not exactly what I wanted but for the difference in price I will make the sacrifice. I would have preferred a magnetic two wire pickup but the only ones I could find were about twice the price. Unlike the hall effect sensors the two wire magnetic units are easier to hook up as they do not require a power source. I have not run it in the car yet but it worked fine with my aftermarket speedometer when bench checked. I would buy again if needed.

Should have bought a good one to start skips around when it gets warm

I bought this bc I wanted new gauges for my 79 trans am that I have a TH400 trans in. So I needed to convert it from cable to electronic for the speedometer and this worked great. Mainly bc all my gauges are glow shift along with this adapter so all the wires are color coated and with instructions telling you which wire goes to what it’s very hard to mess up. So I would highly recommend this product for anyone going from cable gauges to electronic.

For what it does and for the price its a great deal

When I replaced my 4-speed trans to a 5-speed, the speedometer would work for awhile and then drop and fluctuate near half speed. I bought this pulse generator and swopped it out and all works as it should without changing the harness. Simple install and works well.

Perfect fit for my 1979 Dodge truck. Quick install.

I would give them 5 stars but the information available on this unit is a bare minimum. It does fit 1st generation dodge truck models. However I have not wired it into the computer because I have a manual transmission. I do not know if it would work for automatics and the overdrive scenario.
