I bought this because when I removed the old oxygen sensor it took the threads with it. Cut that one out redrilled to put in. Work excellent for what I needed it for easy to do. Only takes a few minutes and you’re done. Great value for the money. Would buy again. Oh yeah it keeps you from having to do any welding.

Worked very well, doesn’t leak. Used it on a BMW 2003 XiT wagon. One of the sensors had been sealed in with the wrong compound and had to be cut out to be removed. I used this product to re-install a new sensor. It works just fine! Would buy again, and recommend to other purchasers.

Great way to add a second 02 bung without welding!

The gasket was a little annoying to work with and getting it around the exhaust pipe in the first place was a pain but after installation the clamp works amazing and doesn’t seem to leak from the weld or the clamping surface.

I made a video of fitting this to an exhaust system on YouTube – bobeaseshop – I think you will learn many things you need to know by watching what I had to do. You must check the bung size and match it carefully to the hole you drill as I had to go a bit larger on the hole. The seal will also need to be enlarged – at least in my case. You can feel it slip into place but it won’t if the hole you drilled is too small. Test fit it several times. You may wish to carefully apply exhaust paste around the bung but don’t get it on the sensor and treat the sensor (no matter what kind it is) is care. Over all it is better than welding and you can be mostly assured it will not leak and foul your readings.
