Now all I have to do is find the 96-02 lever so the cable can actually be used. My car is a 93 that they don’t make the cable for any more. Who would have thought GM would stop making the lever for the cable they were still selling.
Amazon Customer –
Thank goodness Amazon had this product for far cheaper than my local auto store. The part came very quickly with no kinks or mangled. Match the exact cable on my Camaro. Make sure you pull the old one out first, match them up then install or the shift cable will be off and not engage the right gears. With this part and some patience you can get your car or truck running.
Used on my 95 Camaro

For some reason Chevy decided to come out with this cable that has a larger socket on the transmission end. This part is correct but you need to buy the updated transmission lever that has a larger ball on it so it will fit into the socket on this cable. The part number for the new lever is 12554126. I bought mine off of GM Parts Giant, they are very hard to find so good luck.

Good quality, great price, easy to install and easy to adjust. Would definitely recommend or would purchase again if needed.

Perfect fit for a 1994 Chevy Camaro with the 4L60E transmission. My 18-year-old son installed it and the car works perfectly now, shifts through all gears as it should. Thanks!
